Mr. Bales.

Thanks for visiting my profile. I am The Principal at McDougle Middle School. I strive for excellence for all students both in and out of the classroom. I am thoroughly looking forward to getting back to a middle school in an administrative role. I loved my 7 years at Culbreth and expect even more success at McDougle in the coming years.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and keeping up with my 6 & 3 year old daughters. I am an avid Michigan fan, and try to keep up with them as much as possible in ACC territory.

If you have any questions please feel free to email or call and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Message From Mr. Bales

McDougle Middle School, the home of the Mustangs!

It is my privilege to be your principal for the upcoming school year.  We have extremely high goals for each and every one of our students, teachers, support staff, and community to do what is best for all.  We are kind of a big deal around here and will continue to push students to come to school, learn about themselves, build upon their strengths, and learn from their failures.

Please take opportunities to talk with your children about FAIL (First Attempt In Learning).  A big push this year is really looking at yourself and the growth mindset in terms of picking yourself up and coming back stronger whenever you do fail.  Students futures are constructed around their response to failure and the grit they gain by struggling through.

We have an amazing staff here at McDougle and we work tirelessly to meet the needs of all students.  If you ever have a question, please ask.  We will help out in the best way possible.
